Short version: the free site collects nothing about you. If you buy something, we end up with your email address and a record that you bought it.
There are no accounts, no sign-up, no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts. Nothing on the site loads from another company's servers, so no third party sees your visit through us.
Your browser stores 2 small settings locally so the site behaves the way you left it:
Those stay on your device. They are never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Your browser stores one more thing: the key that unlocks the paid views. It also stays on your device and is never transmitted.
Payment is handled entirely by our payment processor. Your card details never touch hockeybangers.com. The processor collects what it needs to take payment and to work out the right tax, which typically includes your name, email address, billing country, and payment details. Their privacy policy governs what they do with it.
From that transaction we receive your email address and a record of what you bought and when.

That is the whole list. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for advertising. You will not be added to any newsletter unless you sign up for one yourself.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub's servers receive the IP address and browser details of anyone requesting a page, and may keep them in server logs. That happens at the hosting layer, and we neither see those logs nor use them. GitHub's privacy practices are theirs to describe.
Purchase records are kept while they are needed to support your access and to meet Canadian tax record-keeping requirements, which run several years. Email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove yours.

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
